ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. -- The Professional Baseball Umpire Corp. (PBUC) announced Wednesday that it has reached a multi-year agreement with sporting goods retailer Ump-Attire.com to be "The Exclusive Supplier of Umpire Uniforms to Minor League Baseball." Under the agreement, MiLB umpires will have access to the latest in quality apparel and multiple options for on-field protective equipment. Financial terms of the agreement were not released.

"Adding Ump-Attire as our on-field uniform supplier, in addition to their role at The Umpire School, solidifies our relationship with them for a long time to come."

In addition to their duties during the season, PBUC supervisors also serve as lead instructors at The Umpire School, which is licensed by the State of Florida and will host its second class of prospective umpires at Vero Beach Sports Village from Jan. 6 to Feb. 3, 2013.
