RICHMOND, Va. - The Flying Squirrels begin their final homestand of the 2012 regular season on Monday, August 27th. The party gets start with Greek Night and it doesn't stop there! The next three nights feature a Dave Machemer Gnome giveaway, Bark in the Park and the final fireworks show of the season.

Monday, August 27th vs. Harrisburg

Gates Open: 6:00 PM First Pitch: 7:05 PM

The Flying Squirrels will celebrate Greece with Greek Night, featuring a Battle of the Greeks contest, consisting of fraternities and sororities from local colleges, during the game! It's another McDonald's Monday and fans can purchase two tickets for the price of one by presenting a McDonald's receipt at the Flying Squirrels box office. It's Fredericksburg Community Night and the Flying Squirrels will celebrate one of Central Virginia's finest communities. The River City Dogs will perform live in the AAA Ultimate Fan Zone prior to the game.

Tuesday, August 28th vs. Harrisburg

The Flying Squirrels will honor manager Dave Machemer with a gnome giveaway. The first 2,500 fans ages 15 and older will receive a Dave Machemer garden gnome, featuring the visage of the popular Flying Squirrels skipper, courtesy of your local Ford dealers. Additionally, fans can purchase tickets to the Uncle Bob's Self Storage Nightly Raffle for just $1 each and win great collectibles! Pre-game music will be provided by the Good Birds in the AAA Ultimate Fan Zone.

Wednesday, August 29th vs. Harrisburg

It's another Bark in the Park Night presented by BestBullySticks.com. Bring your pooch to the park for a unique night of family fun, featuring numerous in-game contests and promotions honoring our canine friends courtesy of West Coast Kix, Haley Buick GMC, Fetch A Cure and Helping Hands, CritterTown BathHouse, Apple Dog Day Care, Nature's Select of Central Virginia and Holiday Barn. The Stray Dog Band provides the pre-game entertainment with live music in the AAA Ultimate Fan Zone.

Thursday, August 30th vs. Harrisburg

It's the final fireworks night of the 2012 season. A post-game fireworks extravaganza presented by AT&T and Heart of Virginia Chevy Dealers will take place as the Thursday Night Fireworks Series concludes. Additionally, fans can purchase Launch-A-Balls for just $1 each and take aim at great prizes following the Flying Squirrels game against Bowie. Pre-game music will be provided by Bret John Elvis in the AAA Ultimate Fan Zone on the main concourse.
